The Other Life
Decent if not the most groundbreaking take I've ever read in the rapidly-expanding zombies/post-apocalyptic genre. There are a few, genuinely surprsing twists that make this a slightly more interesting/convoluted novel than I had thought (or than it had been previous to the twists) but they came rather late into the novel and couldn't round this up to a higher rating. I liked this just fine, I suppose, but just wasn't "wowed" in any way. Full review to follow.
