Princess of the Midnight Ball - Jessica Day George

Fun, if light on characterization and worldbuilding. Princess of the Midnight Ball is easy to read, light, but feels more MG than a YA novel, in my opinion. Fast, somewhat fun, true to the fairy tale it is based on, this retelling is charming, if a bit too simple and easy to merit more than 2.5 out of 5 stars.
